Preparation for the Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET)

The PET course is designed for students who want an active, communicative approach to learning English and at the same time want to improve their accuracy.

In the PET Preparation course, you will receive a thorough preparation in the four skill areas tested in the examination. Equal importance is given to each skill:

• Speaking
• Listening and Comprehension
• Reading and Vocabulary
• Writing in three papers

The course follows a course book for 8, 11 or 12 weeks (depending on the session and location). In 2000, about 70,000 candidates sat the exam around the world, with most candidates coming from Europe and South America. Around 90% of candidates were aged from late teens to late twenties
